I didn’t grow up around boardrooms or balance sheets, and I definitely didn’t have a trust fund. I made my way the long way, working through high school and college, paying my own way, earning my MBA while working full-time, and knocking out every student loan with work ethic and discipline, not shortcuts.
I watched my parents pour everything into three small businesses; a salon, a print shop, and a Christmas tree farm. They weren’t lazy or careless, they simply didn’t have a plan. And without a plan, even the toughest people can crash and burn.
I’ve met countless business owners just like them; gritty operators keeping the wheels turning while flying blind financially. That’s why I built Better Business Buddies, to make sure those same gaps don’t swallow the next generation of builders and blue-collar entrepreneurs.
